Winning With Wine - Terms and Conditions

Promoter: Accolade Wines Limited, Accolade House, The Guildway, Old Portsmouth Road, Artington, Guildford, Surrey, GU3 1LR.

  1. The iPad 2 prize draw is open to store managers of on and off trade independent retailers and on trade outlets who are residents of the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) and aged 18 years or over.
  2. Those entering should ensure that they have the permission of their employer or senior manager before participating. Recipients of prizes may be eligible for income tax. Please consult your local tax office for details.
  3. An independent retailer is a retail business that is not part of a chain of retail outlets or is a franchise or affiliated with a chain of retail outlets.
  4. To be eligible to enter, independent retailers and on trade outlets must be licensed to sell alcohol to the general public.
  5. Employees and representatives (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its agents, third parties and anyone else professionally connected with this prize draw are not eligible to enter.
  6. To enter the prize draw, you must provide your name to the telesales agent that telephones the retail store between 30 January and 10 February 2012 and sign up for membership to the Winning With Wine website. Membership to the Winning With Wine website is free.
  7. There is one prize of an iPad 2. There are no runner-up prizes. The prize will be supplied via recorded delivery. Prizes are non transferable. No cash alternative will be available. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
  8. No purchase is necessary. The outlet must sign up to the website when contacted by phone between 30.01.12 and 17.02.12 to be eligible for the iPad 2 prize draw.
  9. The closing date for receipt of entries is 23.59 hours on 17.02.12.
  10. Only one entry per outlet is allowed. Each entrant can only win one of the prizes on offer.
  11. No bulk, third party or organised group entries will be accepted. Incomplete, illegible, or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, damaged or lost as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
  12. The winner will be randomly selected under independent supervision and notified by telephone using the mobile number entered on the prize draw form or by e-mail using the e-mail address entered on the prize draw form within 7 days of the closing date and the prizes must be claimed by the 29.02.12. All reasonable effort will be made to contact the winners, however if the prize is not claimed by this date, alternative winners will be selected from all the remaining valid entries received by the closing date. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for being unable to contact the winner due to problems with the winners' mobile or network connection or for any other reasons beyond its control.
  13. For the competitions winners name and county of residence, please send a stamped self addressed envelope after 24.02.12 marked Winning With Wine to PO Box 6065 Bournemouth, BH1 9AY.
  14. The winner may be required to participate in unpaid publicity relating to the competition and consent to his/her name, photographs, and entries being used for such purposes by the Promoter. By entering the prize draw you agree to give the Promoter and its group of companies permission to keep all material and information submitted as part of your entry, on electronic or hard copy databases and filing systems for the purpose of the promotion and by entering the promotion you agree to us transferring your data to our promotional partners to enable the awarding of winning prizes.
  15. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions and to their details being communicated to third parties in relation to this promotion. Please retain a copy for your information.
  16. Limitations of liability. Neither the promoter nor the promotional parties assume any responsibility or liability for:
      - Any incorrect or inaccurate code entry, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions.
      - Any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of codes at any point in the operation of this promotion.
      - Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this promotion.
      - Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combination thereof.
      - Any injury or damage to participants upon delivery and/or use of their prize.
  17. The Promoter cannot guarantee that the prizes will be free from all disruptions, failings or cancellations. The Promoter shall not be liable for such disruptions failings or cancellations unless they are caused by the Promoter's negligence.
  18. Regretfully, we cannot be held liable for system failures on the website or at any of our promotional third party partners. Neither can we be held responsible for the failure to fulfil the obligations of any third parties involved in this promotion, although we will always endeavour to minimize the effect to the participant of any such failure. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse fulfilment of the prize if there is any suspicion of fraud.
  19. Conduct of participation. Participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the code redemption process or the operation of the promotion, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the promoter to be in violation of the Terms and Conditions; or to be acting in any manner deemed by the promoter to be disruptive.
  20. The Promoters decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
