Come & Dine Out With Hardys - Terms and Conditions

Promoter: Accolade Wines Limited, Accolade House, The Guildway, Old Portsmouth Road, Artington, Guildford, Surrey, GU3 1LR.

  1. This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom who are aged 18 years or over.
  2. Employees of Accolade Wines Limited, their families and agents and anyone else professionally connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
  3. This competition commences on the 26 September 2011 and ends on the 9 November 2011 (the “Promotion Period”).
  4. To enter this competition, you must purchase a glass or bottle of Hardys Cellar Collection Sauvignon Blanc from a participating Punch Taverns outlet. If you purchase a glass of Hardys you shall receive one promotion card containing a unique code and if you purchase a bottle of Hardys (75cl) you shall received two promotion cards containing two unique codes. Promotion cards available whilst stocks last. Participants should text the word ‘Hardys’ followed by a space and then their unique code and date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY) to 78866 during the Promotion Period eg. Hardys ABC123 01/01/1973. Text messages must follow this format exactly or they will not be entered.
  5. Codes are case sensitive and must be text or entered online exactly as they appear in the pack. Each code is unique and can only be used once and each person can only win one prize.
  6. Alternatively you may enter for free by sending an email to competition@hardys-wine.com stating the word ‘Hardys’ followed by a space and then your unique code and date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY) eg. Hardys ABC123 01/01/1973.
  7. Winning claims are subject to a full verification process and participants should retain their unique code voucher as vouchers may be required to claim the prize. Proof of texting or emailing is not proof of receipt of entry. Responsibility cannot be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed, nor for any associated costs to claimants.
  8. If participants are in the UK texts are charged at their provider's standard network rates but may not be included in a prepaid text package. Participants shall not be charged for any text messages received from the Promoter. If participants send their text message from outside the UK they will be charged for any messages sent/received at their mobile network providers international roaming rates.
  9. The closing date for receipt of all entries is 9 November 2011 at 23:59:59. Incomplete, illegible, late applications and those not in accordance with the application instructions will not be accepted. The Promoter cannot accept liability for applications lost, damaged or delayed.
  10. Multiple entries are allowed. Each participant can only win one prize.
  11. Prize details: the main prize comprises travel for two people to a London Terminal train station up to the value of £100 per person, two nights accommodation and breakfast for two people at a minimum 3* hotel in London sharing a twin or double room, a meal for two people in a participating Punch Taverns outlet in central London to the value of £50, and a bottle of Hardys wine. The winner shall also be given £500 by way of cheque for shopping during their trip. All other costs associated with this prize, and anything not expressly stated as included are the responsibility of those taking the trip and there shall be no further payment from the Promoter. No other costs will be covered by the promoter other than those stated above.The trip is for the winner and a friend who must both be aged 18 years or over. Booking of the prize is subject to availability and may not be taken during any UK public holidays including Easter and Christmas. The prize must be taken by 16th April 2012. There is only one of these prizes to be won. The runners up prize is a meal for two in a participating Punch Taverns outlet to the value of £30 with a bottle of Hardys wine. There are five runners up prizes to be won. No other costs will be covered by the promoter other than those stated above. Booking of the prizes is subject to availability and may not be taken during any UK public holidays including Easter and Christmas. The runner up prizes must be taken by 16th April 2012.
  12. No cash alternatives will be available. Prizes are non-transferable. In the event of circumstances outside its control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
  13. Entries made by text using the correct format and including a winning unique code number shall be notified by text message to the mobile number used to enter this promotion, such notification will also inform the winner how to claim their prize.
  14. Email winners will be notified by email within 5 working days of submission of their entry.
  15. In the event of an entrants' mobile number changing or the mobile phone being lost, stolen or damaged, or an email address becoming inaccessible during the promotion, we are not able to retrieve and amend any existing entries to a new mobile number or email address.
  16. If the winner does not make contact to claim their prize within 30 days, 3 more attempts will be made to contact the winner on the mobile number or email used to enter the promotion in the following 7 days.
  17. For the competitions winners name and county of residence, please send a stamped self-addressed envelope after 9 December 2011 marked Come & Dine Out With Hardys to Accolade Wines Limited, Accolade House, The Guildway, Old Portsmouth Road, Artington, Guildford, Surrey, GU3 1LR.
  18. The winners may be required to participate in unpaid publicity relating to the competition and consent to his/her name, photographs, and entries being used for such purposes by the Promoter. By entering the competition you agree to give the Promoter and its group of companies permission to keep all material and information submitted as part of your entry, on electronic or hard copy databases and filing systems for the purpose of the promotion and by entering the promotion you agree to us transferring your data to our promotional partners to enable the awarding of winning prizes.
  19. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions and to their details being communicated to third parties in relation to this promotion. Please retain a copy for your information.
  20. Limitations of liability. Neither the promoter nor the promotional parties assume any responsibility or liability for:
      - Any incorrect or inaccurate code entry, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions.
      - Any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of codes at any point in the operation of this promotion.
      - Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this promotion.
      - Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combination thereof.
      - Any injury or damage to participants upon delivery and/or use of their prize.
  21. The Promoter cannot guarantee that the prizes will be free from all disruptions, failings or cancellations. The Promoter shall not be liable for such disruptions failings or cancellations unless they are caused by the Promoter's negligence.
  22. The Promoter will not be responsible for codes damaged or defaced in the way the promotion card is opened. If you cannot read your code due to a genuine printing error, please return the collarette to the Promoter at “Accolade Wines Limited, Accolade House, The Guildway, Old Portsmouth Road, Artington, Guildford, Surrey, GU3 1LR”. Please include your name, email and full address details and a replacement code will be sent to you.
  23. Regretfully, we cannot be held liable for system failures on the website, mobile or at any of our promotional third party partners. Neither can we be held responsible for the failure to fulfill the obligations of any third parties involved in this promotion, although we will always endeavour to minimize the effect to the participant of any such failure.
  24. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse fulfilment of the prize if there is any suspicion of fraud.
  25. Conduct of participation. Participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the code redemption process or the operation of the promotion, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be in violation of the Terms and Conditions; or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be disruptive.
  26. The Promoter's decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
